The data is not evaluated in any other way apart from for statistical purposes and then basically in anonymous form (see information below on the use of Google Analytics). No personal surfing profiles or similar are created or used.

If data is passed on to external service providers in the context of operating our website (e.g. web hosting), technical and organisational measures to protect the data and reliability of the transfer are taken to guarantee compliance with data protection regulations. If we call upon service providers to carry out and complete these and other handling procedures, the contractual relationships are regulated in accordance with the provisions set out in Section 11 of the German Data Protection Act.

If you no longer agree to your personal information being stored or if this information is no longer correct, we shall arrange to delete or block your data or make the necessary corrections (provided this is possible in accordance with applicable legislation) following an instruction to this effect. We can provide you with information about any personal data that we have saved that relates to you on request.

Minors may only provide us with personal information if express agreement has been given by the respective parent or guardian or the minors are 12 years or over (e.g. applications for training positions). This data will then be used in accordance with this data protection statement. Before you give permission, explain to your child the risks involved in communicating with strangers and releasing personal information online.

If we introduce new products or services, change Internet procedures or if the Internet and EDP security technology develops further, the ‘data protection statement’ will be updated. We therefore reserve the right to change or add to the statement as required. We will provide notification of any changes made here. You should therefore visit this website regularly in order to consult the latest version of the data protection statement.

4. Information regarding data security

Generally, the Internet is an insecure medium. Compared with a telephone line, for example, the transfer of data via the Internet can be heard, recorded or even changed more easily by an unauthorised third party. Consequently, sending information by e-mail or via the contact form should essentially be described as insecure.

In order to guarantee the confidentiality of communication with you in the context of online applications, we use an SSL encryption.

EMSA GmbH uses technical and organisational security measures in order to protect the data you have made available against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our safety measures are reviewed on an on-going basis in accordance with technological development.

Cookies are used in some areas of the website in order to be able to provide a more individual service to you. Cookies are pieces of identifying information, which a web server can send to your computer in order to identify it for the duration of the visit. Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the saving of cookies or adjust your browser settings so that it informs you about the placement of cookies.
